Turkmenistan took part in the Turan Film Festival
From May 2 to 3, the Turan International Film Festival was held in Izmir, Republic of Turkey. Director Sahysalyh Bayramov, a representative of the Turkmenfilm association named after Oguz Khan from Turkmenistan, is participating as a guest.
Also, as part of the festival, held under the slogan “Red Apple”, several films from Turkmenistan were presented to film fans.
The film festival, jointly organized by the General Film Directorate of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey, the TURKSOY International Organization and the University of the Aegean, featured 1,055 films from 77 countries.
Films submitted to this festival were analyzed by an experienced jury and awarded in 13 categories.
The program ended with a musical concert by artists from different countries and performances by dance groups. As part of the festival, which is held with the aim of strengthening cultural cooperation between the Turkish states, a photo exhibition and a wide concert program were held.
