The Turkmen delegation takes part in the 57th ADB meeting in Tbilisi
The Turkmen delegation, headed by the Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of Turkmenistan M. Orazdurdyev, takes part in the 57th Annual Meeting of the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
The forum, held under the slogan “Bridge to the Future,” will be held for the first time in Tbilisi from May 2 to May 5, 2024. Some 4,000 delegates from 68 ADB member countries are attending, including ADB President Masatsuga Asakawa, finance ministers, central bank governors, senior government officials, as well as representatives from the private sector, academia and the media.
Meeting participants discuss key development issues facing the Asia-Pacific region, including climate change, artificial intelligence, green globalization, economic landscape, regional cooperation and other issues.
Particular attention is paid to intensifying trade, economic and investment cooperation between Turkmenistan and Georgia. There was a significant increase in trade turnover between the two countries in the first quarter of 2024.
Various events, seminars and presentations are held within the framework of the forum.
