Shipbuilding and ship repair plant "Balkan" is on the way to world recognition: a sensational breakthrough in shipbuilding!

The Balkan shipbuilding and ship repair plant in Turkmenistan is preparing to receive ISO certificates, which will be a significant event not only for the enterprise, but for the entire country. This is a huge step towards integration into the international shipbuilding community and confirmation of the highest quality of services provided.

In preparation for certification, the plant is being audited by a Korean company. Obtaining ISO 9001 certificates: will confirm the quality management system; ISO 45001: guarantees a health and safety management system, ISO 14001: will provide an environmental management system.

These certificates will register the plant at the International Accreditation Forum (IAF), opening access to new markets and partners, and will also strengthen customer confidence in the plant.

In addition, Korean engineers will train the plant’s specialists in advanced shipbuilding technologies, and Turkmen shipbuilders will receive certificates from the international classification society “Bureau Veritas”. In the shortest possible time, ready-made equipment and materials for the construction of two dry cargo ships with a carrying capacity of 6,100 tons will be delivered to the plant.

These events mark a new era in the development of Turkmen shipbuilding. The Balkan plant is confidently moving towards global recognition, demonstrating its competitiveness and readiness for new challenges.
