New books have been published in Turkmenistan for the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi

Several new books have been released in Turkmenistan dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the classical poet Magtymguly Fragi. This was reported by the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.

A collection of articles entitled “The Great Magtymguly and the Life of the Turkmen” characterizes the historical era in which Magtymguly Fragi lived and worked, reveals the influence of his wise poetry and humanistic views on the moral values and spiritual world of the Turkmen people.

Another collection, “Makhtumkuli - a source of inspiration,” contains scientific articles related to a comprehensive study of the multifaceted creative heritage of the great poet and thinker of the East.

Gurbandurdy Geldiev’s monograph “Names of places and countries in the works of Magtymguly and their poetics” is devoted to the interpretation of the meaning of the names of places and countries found in the works of Magtymguly, and the disclosure of their artistic value through poetics.

The book of the famous scientist Akhmet Mammedov “Makhtumkuli in the literature of the Turkic peoples” summarizes the results of his many years of research into the work of Magtymguly Fragi and the influence of his poetry on the culture of the Turkic peoples. It contains information about the study of the works of the Turkmen classical poet by Turkic-speaking scientists and writers, about various editions of Magtymguly’s poetry collections in Turkic languages.
