Pakistan's Oil Minister expressed his strong commitment to advancing the TAPI project
The Ambassador of Turkmenistan, Atajan Movlamov, met today, March 26, with the Minister of State for Petroleum of Pakistan, Musadiq Malik, in his office. The Ambassador conveyed his congratulations to the Minister on his assumption of office and praised his dedication to the cause.
Musadiq Malik expressed gratitude for the support and promised to maintain the partnership between both countries. The minister noted that the TAPI gas pipeline is a flagship project and Pakistan intends to complete it.
It is noteworthy that during his previous tenure, the project received significant impetus in Islamabad, leading to tangible results, the Pakistan Press Information Department noted.
Malik assured that he remains committed to moving forward with the project so that it does not lose momentum. Atajan Movlamov noted that meetings of the intergovernmental commission and working groups are planned for this year.
TAPI is a winning project for all parties involved, the ambassador added, and invited the Minister of Oil of Pakistan to the energy investment forum that Turkmenistan will hold in Paris in April.
