Apple will protect users from tracking people using AirTag trackers

Apple is working with Google to develop a new security standard that will help fight people being tracked using AirTag trackers. This is stated on the official website of Apple.

The new security standard, which will be developed by the end of this year, will apply to devices such as AirTag, Galaxy SmartTag, and others. The initiative has already been supported by Samsung, Tile, Chipolo, Eufy Security, and Pebblebee. It is planned that the standard will be integrated into iOS and Android.

It should be noted that now iPhone smartphones notify about the presence of foreign AirTag trackers nearby, and for the Android platform, Apple has released a special application that detects AirTag in the user's immediate environment.
