The results of the IV Open International Olympiad in Mathematics were summed up in Turkmenistan
On International Women's Day in Turkmenistan, the results of the IV Open International Olympiad in Mathematics were solemnly summed up.
The winners of the competition were announced at the festive ceremony, and concert performances added bright colors to the celebration, reports the MIC.
According to the results of the Olympiad, 41 gold medals were awarded in the individual competition, and 6 in the team competition.
Turkmen students won 22 gold, 51 silver and 104 bronze medals in the individual competition.
In the team competition, Turkmen students managed to win 2 gold, 5 silver and 7 bronze medals, the source notes.
Let us recall that students from more than 50 universities around the world, including Turkmenistan, took part in the Mathematics Olympiad. More than a hundred students came from the Russian Federation, Uzbekistan, China, Bulgaria, Spain, Saudi Arabia and Indonesia.
About 390 Turkmen students also took part.
The Olympiad was held in two languages: Turkmen and English.
