Canada announces competition for high-impact partnership development projects
The Canadian diplomatic mission to Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan is announcing a competition for small, high-impact projects under the CFLI program to support initiatives in one of Canada's five priority areas of international cooperation, the Maple Leaf government website reports.
These thematic areas include gender equality and women's empowerment; inclusive management; peace and security; economic growth for all; climate protection and preventing the consequences of climate change. The cost of the project should be between 15 and 30 thousand Canadian dollars.
All applications for participation in the competition will be accepted until April 1 by email to ASTNAGR2@international.gc.ca. Proposed projects must be described in English and prices quoted in Canadian dollars. The design work will have to be completed from June 1, 2024 to February 28, 2025.
Local non-governmental, public and non-profit organizations, academic institutions working on these projects can take part in the competition.
Project financing covers the main costs of the project, including training, advertising, and maintenance.
