Ashgabat "Altyn Asyr" announced the signing of contracts with five new players on a permanent basis.

The top scorer of last season, Didar Durdyev, goalkeeper Rasul Charyev, forward Selim Nurmuradov, defender Khoshgeldy Khodzhov (all from Ahal), and midfielder Ikhlas Saparmamedov from Kopetdag joined the vice-champions.

All five football players already have experience of playing for the national football team of Turkmenistan.

Recall that Altyn Asyr in the 2022 season was unable to defend the title of champion of Turkmenistan and the competition in the squad will definitely not hurt him.

Altyn Asyr, as the silver medalist of the championship of Turkmenistan, will start its journey in Asia from the group stage of the AFC Cup in September 2023.
