The Ministry of Agriculture is being reorganized in Turkmenistan
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a Decree on the reorganization of the country's Ministry of Agriculture to further improve the management of the agro-industrial complex and increase its efficiency, TDH reports.
According to the document, a number of new industry departments have been created on the basis of the Ministry of Agriculture: State Association Türkmengallaönümleri, State Association of Food Industry, State Association of Livestock and Poultry Industry, State Concern Türkmenpagta and State Association Türkmenobahyzmat.
The new structures will become the legal successors of the Ministry of Agriculture in relevant sectoral areas and will be responsible for increasing agricultural yields, developing livestock and poultry farming, creating modern agricultural enterprises and introducing advanced technologies into the agro-industrial complex of Turkmenistan.
The reorganization of the Ministry of Agriculture is intended to give new impetus to the development of the agricultural sector of Turkmenistan to ensure the country's food security.
